Took a little while to find my stride and relax into the run. Legs a bit sore from strength exercises yesterday but loosened up a couple miles into the run. A good run and enjoyed it despite sting to my bum at 8 miles!! Hurt like hell and flared up dog bite in leg! How strange, must be the poisons in the sting hitting a weak point??? oh well bum no long hurts as much now home.

Am still struggling with slow pace tried running slower and everything hurt more so kept it at a comfortable pace as a flat run, however this was race pace. However would be hard to keep going another 10 miles at this pace so no need to rethink race pace just need to work on running slower for the long runs.
