Got on our new treadmill for the first time tonight to give it a spin. Felt pretty good, and the basement ceiling, which I thought might be a factor, isn't really that bad. I got it set up so that my head is between the floor joices, but I think I'd really have to be bounding to make contact with one of them anyway.

Calves felt fine, I guess a two-week break is good for what's ailing you. Need to get back to 4-5 runs a week right off the bat, though, if I want to be up to 30 miles/week by March.

Managed to lose a little weight in Ireland, even though I wasn't running ... still have another 25 pounds to go until I'm down where I should be, though.
