Nice workout today. Went to Minnehaha Academy, checked that I could get on the track, then warmed up. While I was gone someone came around and locked the gate. So I drove to SPA.

Just did a couple striders before getting into it. The 1ks were pretty relaxed at this pace. Goal was somewhere between 3k and 5k pace and the 2:56ish average is in that range. I finished them feeling like I could have easily done a few more. In college I probably would have doubled the workout then felt sick for the rest of the day.

Wasn't super eager for the 400s so I dilly dallied a little bit. Goal was mile pace. Even though I'm guessing I'd struggle to run in the low 4:20s right now, it seemed silly to do them any slower than 66. Felt fine. Starting to get better at running fast again. I tried to push the last one a bit more in the 2nd half but didn't get as much as I would have liked out of my extra effort. I didn't really dig deep though.

Also trying to get better about logging.
