Pendle fell race, 457m ascent (you get nearly to the top, then they send you down - before you crawl up the sheer face of Pendle Hill to the actual top). So-so. Decent exercise but not really a race for me. Ran well on the flat road sections (!) including a pleasing sprint for the line, ok on the uphills, but descended ridiculously cautiously and overtaken by at least 12 people on the various descents. That climb really is severe - totally unrunnable. 55/291.
J U10 ok but shoulder hurt and painful; W 10th U12, enjoyed it but set off too fast; T ascended well U14s but bad stitch destroyed the second half of his race. They played in the stream while I did my race.
