Oh how I love this! PERFECT temps - mid 60s up to low 80s!! Sunny & calm. The pelicans were fishing and the seagulls were flocking. I started out on the paved trail by Bilmar this time and then took the road over the bridge to John's Pass area and then beyond a bit b/4 turning back. Back over the bridge and on the paved trail till it ended. Then, I took the beach out to the end and back again. I had so much fun. Once on the beach I was running along listening to the light 70s tunes on Pandora (they played all the right songs - Little River Band - Cool Change, Sunshine on my Shoulders and many others!) in one ear and the Gulf in the other. Then, the waves started to play tag with me! What fun! I was laughing out loud and running and playing in and out with the waves. It was so awesome, and then I cried and it's hard to run while crying, but this wasn't a sad cry. Still. I had fun playing . . . . just like in the OLD days - the REAL old days!
