First 1/2 mile was tough on my hip. Could not pick up the pace even if it had been a race. Did a few pick ups along the way to see how my hip would hold up. First one didn't feel too great. The other ones were okay, but I didn't feel like my pace was as quick as it could have been. Didn't hit lap button so don't know what my pace was. I had to stop like 4 or 5 times along the way. It was just so hot and my legs just did not want to move :(. Not sure I'm going to race that 5k in a couple weeks. Especially if my hip is still acting up.
