My Co-worker Josh and I got in to Bloomington, Indiana around 9:30 local time on Friday night and had dinner around 10. Josh ran for Calvin back in the day. His senior year was my sophomore year (St Olaf XC Nationals). We both decided that even though getting up for a run would be hard, we definitely wouldn't regret it. So at 6am local time (5am central time) we got our buts out the door for a run through Bloomington, Indiana. It was kind of fun to run around a hilly college town while there weren't any other souls around. We hit a really solid pace too. Certainly would have like to have gone longer but we had to be realistic. It stinks that I didn't get to do the 10 miler and that I didn't get a long run in this weekend, but something is always better then nothing.
