World Airline Road Race (WARR) 2010.
Looked around for a 10k race that would be close to where I'd be staying during a business trip to London.
Lucked out:
Found WARR before I found a room.
Had trouble finding a room for less than £300.
Ended up using laterooms.com and lucking out with a room at the Ramada, just 500 meters from the WARR start line!
Race was fun. Ran a steady pace throughout, with a goal of running a solid 6:45/mile.
My 1.5hr LSD run just two days prior did a fair job of keeping me in my saddle, and I nailed 6:45/mile for the race.
