What a day! Beautiful fall weather at Kittatinny Valley State Park for our first trail race ever! Amazing course. Ran with an ACE wrap on my knee and it did the job, but kept sliding down periodically so that was annoying to fix. My knee started killing me at miles 5-6 and I thought I would have to drop out, but I ended up finishing and winning by 6 minutes! None of the fast guys showed up today, but that was probably a good thing for my knee. Great to have my parents here for the weekend! Thankful that they could carry our nutrition throughout the race for us.
