Notes

What a miserable day for a long run! Fog/low clouds, drizzle, MUD... bleh. I'd wanted to go from the start, up the Dome, do the out and back and get picked up at the bottom of Henderson Rd. By the time I got to the top of the chute (12.5 or so), I was so sick of the mud and being rained on that I just wanted to be done. So called Peter, gave change of plans and headed down the Chute... very slowly. The Aspen Trail was muddy too, as was the powerline, but once I got on the road (Gold Hill Rd) I could move along pretty well, even with a few walk breaks.

Miles 16 and 17 (sub 8's) were on Henderson Road, then the powerline and first part of Gold Hill. Mile 20 was near the lower half of Gold Hill, and a good 7:44 pace. Terrain and conditions definitely dictated pace on this run!

I was wet, chilled and muddy when Peter picked me up at the roundabout on campus. Glad that's done!
