Notes
Yes-sir, Yasso. Plan called for 6x600s. I prefer 800s as it reminds me of better running days in my youth. So a Yasso workout seemed to fit the bill. I was hopping to do at least 8 at sub 3:25, so being able to pull of 10 at about 3:15's is pretty good in my book. Went all out (or close) on the last one to try and go sub 3:00 and did it pretty easily too.
Heart Rate real spiked at the end but all in all this workout seemed easier than I thought it would be, I didn't really feel like I was working too hard until the 8th 800, by that time, the end was in site. Glad this workout went well, but since I ran well, I do wonder how I would have done in the Havest Daze 5K as I ran by many of them on the way to the track and passed some stragglers on my way home still on the course.
(Note... In Feb ran the 800's a tad faster, probably closer to 3:05 average but only did 6 total.)
