Really good workout for me today. The plan was 2 mile, mile with about 5 minutes rest. And that was good. All of group 2 stayed together pretty well, except for Marco, who is still a little sick. Nick Laureano looked impressive. I'm excited to see him run at Valpo on Friday. Then group 1 was still going for a while. They did 2 mile, 2 mile, mile, and then told Piane they wanted to do one more mile, so he let them, and I was talking to him about them doing another, and he said "do you wanna join?" I said yes. And he just said go, which was surprising, so I did one more mile with the group 1 guys (after like 20 minutes of rest)

And I felt good on everything. Obviously the last mile felt pretty quick, but it wasn't very hard since I had so much rest before it. Glad I got to do extra with the older guys. I felt really cool getting to run in that group. #group1bound
And this morning I did my first steeplechase practice. Got there and pretty much just did hurdle drills for a while. It's all hip mobility stuff, so even if I never run a steeple race I'm glad I'm doing it.
