My first steeplechase workout. It was easy. We set up 4 barriers around the indoor track. The goal was 6X800 @ 2:24-2:26. We started out on the slower end, and I dropped it down significantly toward the end. I felt super duper comfortable the whole time. I wasn't super smooth over the hurdles, but I think that should probably be expected. Hopefully that will be fixed with a couple more steeple workouts. It seems like steeple is going to be fairly easy. Maybe not easy, but running 72 pace over barriers doesn't seem difficult.
