Notes

Good #CHOMPS workout. It was pretty fast, but it wasn't unbearable.

1200: 3:11, 5 minutes rest

2X600: 1:32, 1:32, 3 minutes rest

3X400: 60, 59, 56, 2 minutes rest

4X200: 28, 28, 28, 27

It was all good. The 1200 was a little slower than planned, but everything else was exactly what we wanted. The 200s as usual were just casual, taking whatever rest we felt like we needed. I feel good about this workout. The 600s felt pretty smooth and the first two 400s felt pretty good too. At this point, running 56 in a workout still feels very hard, but much more doable than it would have been last year. This weekend should be fun. I guess the plan will just be to try and get out in 2:04-2:05 and see what I can do the second half of the race.
