Notes

The notorious Cannons 3 mile workout today. The 3 mile went okay. I was happy with it. I went 14:50, which isn't particularly fast, but it's a lot better of an effort than either of my cross country races, so that's good. I went out a bit slower than the group, which I think was probably the right decision. Then my second mile was slow as is expected, but my third mile was very good, so I'm happy with that. Then we took about 10 minutes before doing 4X800. The 800s weren't very accurate, but it was more the effort. The first one was at least 900 meters, which is why it is so slow. I don't think the third one was long. I just think I was dead and ran slow.

1X3Miles - 14:50(4:44, 5:10, 4:55)

4X800 - 2:39, 2:14, 2:32, 2:13

So overall a good workout. I can't wait to take a little time off in another month and then come back running a little lower mileage. Then I think I'll really be able to race well.

Sleep: 9 hours (10:30-7:30) + a nap somewhere ~90 minutes
