dark at the start but notably cooler than previous couple of days. there's been a report of hammerhead sharks in Chigasaki so surfers were few and bundled together. i guess swimming has been prohibited. helicopters were flying around yesterday in this immediate area, i suppose spotting the sharks from the air. saw a cop too headed toward the beach. public safety uber alles.
