rain yesterday so forced rest, actually did me good. today's run fine, plenty of energy, feet felt great. saw a cormorant eating an eel and herons at the fountain and on the concrete embankment. nicely shaped waves, beach smelled of fish. surf reminded me of california beach mornings, plenty of surfers too.
