heron and an egret at the fountain, no cormorants today. got a little latish start so i ran up on the cobblestones and back on the trail until the bridge just past the fountain, then back on the cobblestones--for the shade. not as windy today and still a little drier than usual. kinda had wind up and back but at the beach it's clear the wind is still from the south. fed the pigeons today, well, one pigeon. he didn't call his friends this time
