Notes
morning was cold and windy at home, but sun came out and temp warmed up by the time i got to upton. caught up to john barbour (who was recovering from surgery) at about mile three and decided passing him would be a mistake. i would pull ahead a bit on the ups and john would pull ahead a bit on the downs. running with john was a good call, he is so tactical, steady and smaht (and fantastic company). tough final mile to the finish, gave it all i had which wasn't much.
