Skechers are surprisingly good for jumping over downed tree limbs. A good steady breeze and pretty gentle rain were reminders that Sandy might have packed her bags, but hasn't left town just yet. We weathered the storm very well, but the folks in New Jersey and New York were in my thoughts for almost the entire run. Nobody deserves that kind of suffering, not even lifetime Yankees fans.
