Well, I'm not in shape to run the Napa Valley marathon after all. Actually, I might be, but yesterday's hilly 9 miler definitely took its toll on today's run. I was really struggling on the 7:20 pace on the flat beach - HR wayyy too high, although there definitely was a slowing wind that might account for the later drag. Still, nowhere near where I'd like to be. At least pasta fueling is working well - I haven't crashed from fuel loss on any of my latest runs. Lots of traffic lights again.
