HOOORAY a new PR! 14th out of 242 in AG. Despite starting near the front (Aus and I seeded ourselves with the 5:30-6:30 pace group to try and avoid the walkers, people with strollers, etc) the start was still a cluster (hence the extra 10th of a mile) . Every year during the first mile as I stumble over people shuffling along, playing with their iPods I get really pissed and vow never to do this run again but then after I get through the riff-raff I always end up having fun. Hips, butt and all the usual problem areas felt good. Near the end, I did notice soreness in the arch of my right foot. Will keep an eye on it, use the spikey ball on my foot and make sure calves are stretched well
