well before we started the race i said fuck the wind, fuck the mud, fuck the crowd, we can still run fast here. a 15 second pr isn't as good as i would have wanted but i think it was okay all things considered. This does leave me with some work to do next in a few weeks at IU. I tried to run with the rest of the guys but having started in the back part of the box i got stuck behind a lot of people early on and was unable to do any passing in mile 1. In the second mile i managed to get right on the end of our group for a bit. Over the last few miles i lost some places though. I rallied a bit when mahone passed me and ended up having a pretty good last mile.
