Notes

Tonight's w/o was 6 miles of t-pace broken up into 3X2-miles @ 6'20" pace (new t-pace, 1'35" quarters = 12'40" total) with 2'30" rest in between reps.

1) 1.99 miles in 12'35" (6'19" pace)

2) 2.01 miles in 12'43" (6'19" pace)

3) 2.02 miles in 12'42" (6'17" pace)

A fourth rep might had been too much. But, then again, had I had to...maybe. I was really working hard on number 3. Mentally, I tackled one and two easily - it was easy to refocus and relax. I could dislocate the discomfort without much effort. In fact, I could feel myself "re-settle in" late into the rep (9th minute). I was talking too myself a lot on 3. I was so happy to finish up - it was a good mental boast at my new t-pace.

6'20" feels fast - not too fast - I can do it but definitely not as easy as 6'27" pace. I am definitely a lot closer to where I should be than I was two weeks ago. Glad the adaptation process at this pace has started. We'll see where we are at in 3 weeks.

Also - flats felt great over 6 miles at t-pace tonight.

Now, I have to get over this stuffy nose and sneezing cold. I get a data point to execute on Sunday at the B1/2. Sky's the limit...
