Went to W&J Track tonight with Dad. I was thinking about all my slow miles since BT50K and the semi-funk that I have felt like I've been in lately. So I picked up the pace a bit.
My miles were 8'37, 8'29", 8'29", 8'17", 8'19", 8'12", 8'27". After I did all those, I hit 6X120 yard striders on the W&J football field. I have not done striders in about 2 weeks so it was nice getting touch with my faster twitch muscles again.
I am hoping that this will lead into a quality speed workout tomorrow. I am ready to get back on track for Chicago this week. It's a big week for training.
Also, I started refocusing on my diet. Just watching my refined sugars and portions...
