Ran with Rob for the first time in what seems like 6 weeks. It was 58 at the start and climbed to 77 by the time we finished nearly three hours later. Rob and I were steady all day. I was really dying the last mile.
I felt pretty good until about Garmin. I stopped for a 90" walk break, then again for another 90" on Portage Path.
My legs felt heavy and tired. And I felt heavy weight-wise. I cannot believe that missing 3-straight days had such an effect.
I am pretty sore and tired (but I don't think it is just the long run). I don't think I recovered fully from the insanity of my bounce trip to Cairo this week.
Looking forward to recovering. I want to lay some fast time this fall - today was just part of the process.
Despite everything - It was amazing to be getting my routine back.
