First SERC Sunday run - As advertised: First two mile about 8'05" pace and it felt easy then it progressively dropped from there. I was at 7'54" avg pace at the water stop.
After that I ran in with Dave Peterman, Jason Aspinall, and Scott Picker. It was good chatting/meeting them but that hill on the backend is a good one.
Despite running at 7'41" avg pace - I felt great. It was too fast and I can't do it ever week but I needed a confident booster after getting hammered yesterday in the Valley.
Plus - It gave me some good mileage this week. I feel like each week, I get a little closer to being back. And I am realizing that my problem is not fitness as much as weight.
