Did another long run after last week's step back. Was shooting for 16 but felt ok so I added on an extra mile at the end. This was much smoother compared to the other 17 miler I did last month. And I think about 4 miles faster.
I had some fast miles through Hains Point - that is going to be ideal for tempo runs.
I took s-caps at 30' 60' and 90'. I took one gu at 10.5 miles (85').
Other than that I felt strong. First two miles were slow and sore. Then I got into a groove. I hit a little dip (low point between 13-14 but then came out of that and hill the Lee Highway hill pretty well.
I feel like there's been progress.
