Running Family Group run this am.
33F, freezing fog. Tights, shorts, lands end heavy socks, ss compression,ls tech, craft cap, mid wt gloves. Had a muscle milk to fuel up, coffee then off to Panera's to hook up with the other runners. I wanted 2+ hrs on my feet and did 2:19 covering 10mi. I carried G2 gatorade and decided to simulate water stops every 2 mi or so. Would walk a min, drink and go. Prob was needed to us porta potty at about 1.6mi mark. Then got to water stop and ate a cookie. Ran from there and stopped again on way back. Not bad. HR was low and pace was in low 12's when running. Not bad practice for how to run the half race in two weeks.
