4mi MAF test
22F, no wind. ls mock turtle compression, ls Cowtown tech shirt, tights, C9 running pants, pullover running cap.
Did a MAF test (continuous run @ max aerobic func,maf, =107), did 4 mi this time. Previous tests were 3 mi because I didn't feel I could do a 4th mi. This one was easy, I could have done a 5th mi if I had time. Interesting change. The pace for last 3 mi varied by less than 1 sec! Incredibly consistent. That indicates good aerobic function. I might be ready for anaerobic training. I really enjoyed this run.
MTA: had fold back mittens on. No knee braces, drank 1/2 can of protein drink b4, finished after run. Re-hydrated before going outside. Drank some water, left the bottle on mailbox, stopped after warm up mi and drank some water before starting MAF test. Nothing to eat/drink until finished.
