Welp, according to the couple splits I took, I ran almost exactly 6:56 average the whole time. That's good, because I told myself I wanted to run more evenly today, and run 7 min pace or slightly faster. Pleased! I was maybe a little slower at points on the way back, because I know I did pick it up slightly for the last 400m, mainly cuz I was glad to be away from the mobs of people on East ave. Fucking St. Patrick's Day -- what a colossal shitshow. It's better than last year, because it's cold, but the streets were still filthy and people were staggering around unable to hold themselves together, all in the name of some bullshit holiday for "Irish" pride. DISDAIN!
