a surprisingly nice morning out there - wind behaved and the overcast skies cleared up. the combo swell provided a few backdoor chesties with some bigger sets. it was nice to see marty come down to the beach halfway through the session and provide some encouragement. by the end of the session i felt like i had my feet back under me and was making some decent turns. forecast is looking like more split peak soup through midweek!
