eyed this run from the day i locked up the sapphire estate. a nice hill with wide roads spectacular views. it's a great loop that goes by fast as you take in the million dollar houses and look down upon greater san diego at one of the many outlooks. started to rain on the way down and was chilly bones. this is going to be one of my go-to runs from the apartment since you can do the 5.5 or probably expand it to an honest 8 if you take soledad mtn road. there are several other linkup options into la jolla too. ~800' elevation gain is a borderline hill climb.
