John Carson 2 Mile Road Race. VERY Humid. I did a 1.8 mile warmup and was extremely hot by the time the race started. My watch has me at 13:00 but the chip time is 13:05, they just had a finishing mat, not a starting mat. I came in 9th woman overall and first in my age group (for winning my age group, I won a $15 gift cert to Sullivan Farms Ice cream) My splits on my Garmin were 6:34, 6:26. The first mile was so crowded since there were 3000 runners there. I ran 9 seconds faster in the 2nd mile and was extremely hot the entire time. should have run this race a little bit faster but it was very fun and I loved the point to point course.
