8 hours sleep, V8 and banana breakfast. First mile felt great, second felt horrible, third OK, fourth pretty good. Then the skies opened up. Poured the rest of the way, and it felt great! Could barely see a thing, shoes made loud squishing noises, but it felt great for the rest of the tempo bit. Last tempo mile I could feel the hamstrings tightening, but pushed through with no problem. It was like the rain washed away all the bad voodoo that had been accumulating.
