Time is event time.
Probably only race in which you can put a mile in the bank -- first mile (well, about .75 of it) drops @ 300 feet.
Dogged a bit in the middle, as is evidenced below. Hard to hit an even stride w. the fast start. And no wonder: Despite it being a railtrail, it climbs almost 300 over the next 5 miles. Happy w/ a PR. Not pleased I didn't place grrr. Were it last year, I'da got 2nd. The year before, 7th or 8th, so, you take what is. Nice tech shirt. Nice finisher medal.
Other thoughts: Not enough sleep. A <3 marathon will be tough. But I will do it. 2 GUs.
