Start at Old Fort Park towards Barfield Crescent. Planned on at least a 30 minute steady. Only ended up with 4 miles worth of 7:38 pace. Lot's of slippery mud. Never really could get the pace any quicker, sure as hell wouldn't have been able to pull off any 1,000 meter repeats. (at least not without Steve to help pull me along) Coolest scene ever, two bucks fighting with a couple of does watching as the sun lite up the trees with a purplish, red. That was a first. Could have stood and watched them for awhile, they were only about 20 yards away and didn't seem to know I was watching.
