Just me and Steve. Goal to hang w/ Steve on his workout. 6 x 200, then 3 x 1,000 and then 800. Think we went a little to hard on the first couple of 200's. Settled down, but still quicker than I'd have thought. (what the hell do I know, though). Goal for the 1,000's was his race pace, 7:00. I went out quick, he didn't follow, I backed down to 7:03 or so and held. Wasn't there for him today. He bailed on the rest of the workout. No big deal for me, I'm just happy to be able to get some quick turnover without the freakin' calf yapping at me. The Virratta's just make me feel faster.
