w/ Phil. swapped long run days. his workout was 5 minutes of increasing pace 3 x and then repeat. 7:50, 7:10 and then 6:30. I just kinda tried to maintain a steady 8:00 or so, mostly quicker. really got rolling once we came out of the hills. gas ran out around 11 miles in. good day. feet didn't get cranky until the last slow miles. cool mid 60's to start, but sunshine and low 70's when I ran out of gas. wtf moment on the flat when Phil catches and makes the pass on his 6:30 pace repeat, change my stride thinking I"m backing off the pace, but actually picked up the pace to wannabe MP. strange.
