Wanted to push it a bit and get a long run in...this is probably the longest run I have done without taking a break in between. Of course I walked some but only short distances and then pushed on.
Dad and I left out this morning and it was muggy and nasty. We ran the gravel path for the first 1.8 and then cut cross country to hit the Woodlands trail. I pushed it the first 1/2 to 3/4 on the trail and it felt really good but I had to slow it back down to finish the distanced I wanted to go.
Still loving the Garmin, I realized I better set the auto pause to more than 20 min, some of the uphills spots where you might walk will get you right at the 20 min/mile mark I had it set on. Other than that I love the autolap at 1 mile, very helpful to pull you along.
Overall good run, I learned my shorts are two big...after 3 miles and being soaking wet they tend to sag a bit and I had to roll them up to keep from losing them!
