Workout: 5 x 800 @ AP (2:52 +/-)/2 min rest + 5 x 30 sec @ 3k-1500 slow jog down

Went into the week feeling like I needed a different training stimulus but unsure of what workout I would do. Ultimately started leaning this direction but settled this morning on the ap 800s. Was going to be ok with as little as 4 but was going to cap at 5 and then add some hills or short fartlek. Felt ok on warmup and once running I felt pretty strong. Didn't feel like the acidic feeling was much more intense if any more then this past weekend. Really happy with how consistent the splits were. I am hoping a bit of focus on this helps unclog a stop hold on the LT and tempo sessions. Ran the workout on neyland and back and forth on the waterplant mile. Hills felt pretty strong and 30 sec was good call.
