somewhat of a deviation from plan, which had called for a 10-15k race on saturday...first, i looked, and there were no such races in the area this weekend; second, i know my foot is in no shape to be able to do any extended speed work at the moment; third, it was a holiday and i wanted to get a decent mid-long run in if possible
was misty/wet but not really raining, garmin measured 10 but i know it was off by at least .1...splits are most likely not anywhere near accurate b/c the stupid thing kept losing satellite connection...anyhow, right foot hurt like a bitch for the first mile, i alternated between running on my toes and heel, seemed to settle down some after that and was just a constant hot pain...didn't ice after b/c i swear that made it worse the other times i tried...
