THOUGHT I had set pace alert to beep when slower than 8:30, but it was still off, still managed to do well, just one mile where I was over (and not sure why that one was, b/c if i remember right, that was one of the flatter miles!) anyhow, run felt great! nice to move out w/ some speed, had a twinge in my right achilles on the last mile; did some icing when I got home, am really going to try to do a proper slower paced long run tomorrow...
