Think I feel good about this one. Tough course, though it was a perfect morning to run. Cool, bit of a breeze, but a great morning. The splits might look a bit better than reality....we stopped three times, once for a wardrobe adjustment, once for water/GU, and once for a bathroom. Might have been a few seconds per mile slower if not for those stops. I was also settled in pretty well so I don't know how much the stops would have affected the overall run.
Struggled a bit in the beginning of the tempo (but it was also mostly uphill at that point). Once we (Doug ran with me) settled in though, I really felt pretty strong. Every block in the foundation helps.
