Felt pretty good about this one. Two miles with Ann to get moving and then into the workout. Took me a while to get going on the moderate effort, and a little surprised that I was that fast towards the end.. Felt good all the way around the lake, but was climbing towards a harder effort. Felt like those 4 miles were up tempo, and I was in a nice rhythm, but not pushing too hard.
Strides on the way home were a little uneven due to terrain and footing, but overall the effort was good on them.
No hamstring issues at all...

Kind of a moderate day today. Adding the strides at the end makes this a workout day in general.
Run 1-2 mile easy and then run the next 4-5 miles at what feels like a moderate effort (open-ended). Shoot for what you'd consider moderate. Be comfortable running but push some. Razor's edge.
When you're done, get in a session of 8 x 100m strides with a 100m jog recovery.
7 miles in all today.
