Felt really good before the race and not quite as good during the race. Let TJ pull away from me after the turnaround. We were chasing down Ricky King the whole time and never really caught him. 5:24 was really my max pace today, what I don't know is whether this is due to my foot or a lack of fitness. Looking at my training plan, I'm definitely missing some strength. The hills crushed me today. Maybe start a plyo cycle? It's hard to say without knowing what my foot is going to do. I definitely think that going with King earlier would have made a difference. I did not have race intensity today.
