Pretty good race. The first mile I didn't feel warmed up enough and there was an uphill. When I came through my split was 5:08, which I think is probably right on. I would have preferred to be right at 5 flat but that is okay.
Second mile I really tried to focus like I had planned on and that seemed to workout well. The wind was at my back and I just put my head down and pushed as much as possible. 4:51 [9:59]
Third mile: Brought it home as much as possible. Probably lost a little time on the cobbles. Really really brought it home. 24 seconds according to my watch...probably 29. In reality
Pre-Race
Baget+1 cup of coffee+A little Gatorade+continous water (3hrs-2hrs prior)
Water and Gatorade (2hrs-1.5hrs)
2 mile jog and 4 strides (10 minutes prior)
