Three Part Workout
Part 1: 1 Hour @ Steady [6:20-6:30]
Part 2: 10 X 1:30 @ Marathon Pace [5:42 average]
Part 3: 30 Minutes @ Steady [6:20-6:30]
Hardest part was Part 3. Came back to finish strong right around 6 flat pace for the last mile or so. That 5:42 average on the second part was with a lot of ups and downs, going as fast as 5:18 on one repeat and as slow as 6:04. Not sure if Garmin is off or not, but I would like to get that average into the 5:30s on my next fartlek workout which I believe will be X 3minutes.
Overall Pretty good workout without any fueling. Usually I would take a GU after 1 hour that might have brought the pace down.
