I'm in for number 14 with a BQ -12:14. I'm one of the lucky ones, I get to sleep at home!
Cool, 14 consecutive? This will be 12 in a row for me.
Unfortunately no, I had a couple years mixed in when I was injured and couldn't run. Congrats on the 12 in a row! That's great!

That’s crazy! I received my confirmation today that I’m in.
That's about what I'd expect. I think you'll need at least BQ-2 this year, and I expect the times will tighten another 5 minutes for 2017 or maybe 2018.

Preliminary acceptance came today (pending verification of submitted time). Guess you need to use the name your qualifying race used with no variations...

Hi all! I just stumbled across this community. Can I join? I got my very first Boston acceptance email today, so I'm riding pretty high.
I don't think us squeakers (those of us in the -5 group) will find out until September 30th. Stay occupied for a week .
I guess I need to decide soon if I am going to run it or not.

Having to decide by September 23rd whether to sign up for a marathon that will happen on April 18th of the following year makes shit tons of sense.
No kidding. Right now I am kind of burned out on marathon training and leaning towards not doing one this spring, but a month from now after I recover from my fall marathon I will probably regret not signing up.
