"I've been following Eddy's improvement over the last two years on this site, and it's been pretty dang solid. Sure the weekly mileage has been up and down, but over the long haul he's getting out the door and has turned himself into quite a runner. He's only now just figuring out his potential. Consistency in running is measured in years, not weeks. And over the last couple of years, Eddy's made great strides" Jeff 14 Jan 2009
When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

Hope you heal quickl Eddy! Just out of curiosity, do you think your injury has anything to do with your pretty incredible increase in mileage over the course of the last couple of months?
Just Be
Due to IT band trouble, gonna have to take a few week off. See you guys in a few weeks.
QUESTION: If it turns out to be 3 weeks off from running, will you return to running 6 weeks back in your training? I'm starting my second 'off' week (I got the flu via the internet, from zoom zoom ) and usually go back two weeks for every week off.
Let me rephrase the question then: Mileage wise and using 3 weeks off as the measure, what kind of a mileage reduction, if any, will there be in your training?
Imminent Catastrophe
... Still injured ad depressed. I am only going to go back out when I feel totally ready again.
